Deputy Research Director - Senate Majority PAC - Washington, DC

Senate Majority PAC is seeking a Deputy Research Director for the 2018 election cycle. The Deputy Research Director would report to the Research Director and work closely with the SMP team. Responsibilities will include working with SMP internal and consulting teams to identify research priorities and goals, overseeing and conducting original research on targeted candidates, and managing approval processes for SMP media communications.

 

Qualifications and skills:

 

·      Previous campaign experience, preferably two cycles in political research;

·      Excellent research and writing skills;

·      Highly organized;

·      Strong attention to detail;

·      Ability to write, proofread and fact-check with precision on a deadline;

·      Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed;

·      Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis and other commonly-used research databases and processes.

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
