Help elect the next mayor of Baltimore.

A Baltimore citywide candidate is looking for an Engagement Director (Field Director) for an aggressive volunteer field operation to help elect the next Mayor of Baltimore.

This is a highly competitive municipal election.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Highly motivated to achieve winning results
  
• Experience with urban races is strongly preferred
  
• Strong management, coaching and training experience
  
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting systems
  
• Ability to establish a culture of respect and community
  
• Advanced proficiency with web-based voter file platforms such as VAN
  
• A demonstrated ability to present data-driven recommendations to a wide
  
• range of stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner
  
• A record of building strong working relationships
  
• Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate information with multiple
  
• partners and stakeholders with varying levels of experience
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  
• Be proficient with Google docs/spreadsheets/forms
  

Responsibilities:

Field Strategy & Data Management

• Work with Campaign Manager and other staff to ensure integration of field into larger strategy;
• Manage voter database, including selecting targets, tracking IDs and volunteer contact information;
• Analyze and produce daily quantitative reports reflecting progress

Manage Voter Contact Programs

• Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and Get Out The Vote (GOTV)
  
• Build and manage relationships with allied organizations as they pertain to field activities
  
• Establish a strong professional culture within field organization focused on accountability, use of best practices, and sense of purpose.

Volunteer Coordination and Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and develop local volunteer leaders
