Research Associate - Senate Majority PAC - Washington, DC

[SMP]

Senate Majority PAC is seeking research associates for the 2018 election cycle. Research associates would report to the Research Director and Deputy Research Director and work closely with the SMP team. Responsibilities will include daily tracking of assigned Senate races, conducting original research on targeted candidates, assisting in approval processes for SMP media communications.

 

Qualifications and skills:

 

·      Previous campaign experience, particularly in political research a plus;

·      Excellent research and writing skills;

·      Highly organized;

·      Strong attention to detail;

·      Ability to work non-traditional hours when needed;

·      Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis and other commonly-used research databases and processes a plus.

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
