Position Description
The Project Manager will be an integral part of the PNA team. Ideal candidates will be self-starters with an entrepreneurial approach to the opportunities and challenges facing our clients. This person should be passionate about driving progressive change and innovation by helping advocates and campaigns up their game. This person will be responsible for a wide variety of duties with a primary focus of servicing PNA’s clients and subscribers. This person will manage outreach to our subscribers to keep them up to date on upcoming projects and research, train new staff on how to utilize PNA’s services and manage internal projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for the following duties/tasks:
· Frequent communication with subscriber and clients
· Training subscribers on tools and services PNA has to offer
· Providing technical support to PNA subscribers around our website and clearinghouse
· Tracking subscriber priorities and projects
· Assist in managing PNA Clearinghouse
· Assist with PNA commissioned projects
· Ability to manage multi-projects on an ongoing basis
· Ability to prioritize among a large and diverse set of objectives, and to do so in fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Ability to travel to meet with clients across US
Qualifications
· 5 years or three cycles of political or advocacy experience required
· Political research expertise required
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
· Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to prioritize and handle variety of projects simultaneously
· Ability to communicate effectively, work well under pressure, detail oriented and meet deadlines.
· Superior attention to detail.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and discretion.
· Knowledge of and strong commitment to progressive causes preferred
· A diplomatic, discreet and professional approach to problem-solving
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience. Generous benefits include health, dental, vision and paid vacation.
