Field Fellow

Competitive Congressional campaign is seeking a Field Fellow to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a top-tier progressive Congressional campaign in the Greater Boston Area representing a democratic female candidate. Fellows will gain exposure to all aspects of a political campaign, and will play a key role on the team.

Specific Responsibilities Include: 

• Assisting the campaign in daily operations and strategic planning for upcoming events and deadlines. 

• Assist staff in organizing data entry, phone banks, and social media organizing 

• Provide a positive experience to volunteers through a welcoming field and virtual experience.

• Develop creative projects to increase voter and volunteer engagement in the campaign and region.

• Desired commitment of 15-20 hours/week, including some weekends and evenings.

Qualifications: 

• Superior time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal skills for volunteer interfacing.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive 

• Commitment to the election of democratic women in the U.S. House of Representatives.

• Previous field experience is preferred.

• Flexible hours frequently required for this position.
