New Virginia Majority is looking for organizers in Northern Virginia:
New Virginia Majority (NVM) is Virginia’s leading civic engagement organization that mobilizes and organizes people of all colors and backgrounds across the state. We are seeking conscious and skilled individuals with a deep commitment. NVM is hiring part-time organizers for its voter education and register new voters campaign for this election cycle.
Duties include but are not limited to:
● Engaging in door-to-door or high traffic voter communication ● Registering new voters ● Working with volunteers and fellow staff members to complete assigned tasks ● Ensuring accurate and complete data is submitted
Required Skills: ● A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation ● Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure ● Excellent organizational and communication skills ● Able to work independently
Pay and Hours: 20 Hours, $15 hourly, and potential for growth.
