Top New Mexico Races Seeking Finance Director
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Work with campaign management to develop and implement finance plan
- Conduct and review research on prospective donors and develop and
recommend strategies
- Arrange and attend meetings with donors and prospective donors
- Manage and develop candidate call time, including: identify targets;
maintain candidate call books to re-solicit donors and pinpoint/engage
new targets; reinforce candidate contact with follow-up calls and emails
- Provide training/information to volunteers and interns as required
- Work with campaign management to develop and craft targeted email and
mail fundraising
- Advise in the planning and execute fundraising events, including:
recruit prospective event hosts; coordinate with hosts and campaign staff
on all of the event planning; track and follow up on RSVPs/commitments
- Build strong relationships with donor community and serve as liaison
between candidate and donors
- Meet and collaborate with candidate and staff to address fundraising
progress.
- Maintain the donor database and other fundraising tools by tracking
pledges, processing checks, updating contact information, and entering
relevant notes from candidate call time.
An ideal candidate must possess:
- Preferably two cycles or three to four years campaign finance or
development experience (at least one cycle or two years required)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of humor;
- Proactive work ethic;
- Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced
environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs.
- Knowledge of NGP, Nationbuilder, Votebuilder
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Albuquerque, New Mexico
