Regional Political Director

A PAC dedicated to winning back the majority in Virignia’s House of Delegates seeks a dedicated political staffer to assist tracking and assisting State House candidates.

Location: Northern Virginia

 

Responsibilities:

The regional political director will track state house candidates across Virginia and cultivate strong relationships with the candidate and their staff.

Maintain up to date information on campaign progress including fundraising and field efforts specifically. Identify challenges and embed with select campaigns to provide short-term assistance in many areas including canvassing, implementing social media and other technology, fundraising.

The regional political director will spend significant time explaining new campaign technologies to campaigns, encouraging campaigns to utilize those technologies, and training staff and candidates to implement.

 

Qualifications:

Available to start right away

A passion for Democratic politics generally and interest in Virginia specifically

Willingness to work long hours, including some evenings and weekends

General computer skills and overall comfort level learning new systems (Microsoft Word and Excel are a must)

Must have laptop computer and personal transportation

Experience and familiarity with political campaigns is preferred, but willing to train someone dedicated and motivated to succeed in Democratic politics.

Some travel required
