Telefund is now hiring for an Operations Director to work out of our Boston, MA location.

Operations Director

As our society confronts escalating dangers like climate change, civil rights violations, and extreme poverty, Telefund, Inc. is seeking an Operation Director who can help elect progressive leaders in 2016 and who can help progressive organizations turn the tide of history.  As a national leader, a team developer, and a strategist, Telefund’s Operations Director has a meaningful impact on some of the most important issues facing our country and planet.  The Director oversees our outreach nationwide with a focus on ensuring that our staff is exceeding fundraising goals and performing at full potential for our social change clients.  Primarily focused on increasing efficiencies, motivating teams, and driving results, the Operations Director supervises the leadership team that manages our 5 existing call centers.  

Responsibilities:

·         Maximize Performance of Fundraising Call Centers

·         Recruit, Train and Manage Call Center Directing Staff

·         Analyze Metrics, Identify Growth Potential and Report Vigorously

·         Motivate and Mentor Fellow Staff Members

Qualifications:

The Operations Director must motivate and manage Call Center Directing staff spread out between 5 different cities, so strong and effective management skills are required.  This position also requires a strong work ethic, a desire for political change, good teamwork and a positive attitude.  The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working in some combination of operations management, fundraising and marketing. An understanding and involvement with call center predictive dialing technology is preferred but not required.  Campaign experience is a definite plus.
