Position Summary

A highly competitive Democratic Congressional campaign is seeking an experienced field operative to work as the Vote Outreach Coordinator for the Illinois Democratic primary. The Vote Outreach Coordinator will be a part of senior campaign leadership and will be responsible for directing the day to day voter contact and field operations in advance of the March primary in Illinois. This person will be responsible for assisting in the planning and executing the campaign field plan, managing volunteers, and will be accountable for all quantitative and qualitative field metrics. She/he will be the main point of contact for all data for the campaign. The Vote Outreach Coordinator will also be responsible for directing the management of satellite campaign offices and oversight of the voter contact budget and other campaign related duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one cycle of field experience 
  
• Have previously held Field Organizer, Regional Field Director or Field Director positions;
  
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training and managing a team
  
• Commitment to establishing a culture of respect, trust and community;
  
• Understanding of campaign targeting and metrics;
  
• Proficiency in VAN, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs;
  
• Experience developing, training and empowering volunteers;
  
• Highly organized;
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent deadlines;
  
• Humility and a good sense of humor;
  
• Position will be based in Illinois;
  
• Frequent travel required within the district; must have access to a vehicle;
