BASE SALARY:                       $60,000 per annum + benefits

BONUS POTENTIAL:               10% of Recruitment Program net revenue up to $100,000 per year

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

 

The Director of SEO and Recruitment Services manages the entire canvasser recruitment process for all of Membership Drive’s partners and executes Membership Drive’s SEO strategy. The Director of SEO and Recruitment Services will be responsible for the new business development process, maintaining client relationships, renewals, daily maintenance of membership Drive’s recruitment channel, and all SEO.

 

Membership Drive is the leader in face-to-face fundraising innovation with a proven track record of testing some of the biggest breakthroughs in face-to-face fundraising. Membership Drive integrates testing wins into technology, training, and strategy for nonprofits and nonprofit vendors to constantly improve performance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Program Management:

·       Work with CEO to create strategies for business development, staffing and execution of Membership Drive’s recruitment strategy

·       Collaborate with Director of Customer Success to ensure that all clients are set-up in a timely manner and all ongoing requests are handled in a timely partner-first manner

·       Create and maintain processes and reports for developing and tracking recruitment advertisement productivity

·       Create and test recruitment ad copy to keep ads fresh, on message and performing

·       Line manage Membership Drive interview schedulers who call on behalf of our partners to set interviews

·       Hire, train and hold Membership Drive interview schedulers accountable to objectives

·       Collaborate with VP of Training and Advisory Services on training content for Canvass Director trainings.

 

Performance:

·       Ensure that recruitment objectives defined at the point of contract are met across all clients

·       Maintain a customer satisfaction level of at least 98%

·       Manage all Interview Schedulers to defined expectations and provide coaching, feedback and counseling to address performance opportunities

·       Grow the income of the recruitment program by at least 25% per year

 

Staff Development:

·       Train and mentor Interview Schedulers to recruit, train, retain, coach and manage staff

·       Reinforcing standards and expectations regularly and setting objectives for performance with each staff person and giving feedback on performance

·       Travel as needed to client locations, DC HQ and conferences

 

Evaluation:

·       Work with CEO to develop the KPIs for recruitment

·       Analyze all recruitment metrics daily

·       Report on action plans and trends to CEO weekly

·       Analyze Interview Scheduler data daily

·       Create weekly action plans with each Interview Scheduler to ensure objectives are achieved and Interview Schedulers are challenged and continuing to learn in their role

·       Develop and execute a short-term and long-term strategy for testing ad copy

·       Along with Membership Drive President, develop and execute SEO and backlinking strategy to achieve maximum results for our partners

 

Compliance:

·       Ensure that all recruitment data is collected and stored within Membership Drive to comply with data security regulations and Payment Card Industry Standard rules as applicable

  

Other: Other assignments provided by manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Skills:

 

Excellent interpersonal skills; excellent verbal communication skills; ability to manage and motivate staff; ability to identify, recruit, train and retain staff; short-term and long-term strategic planning skills; and proficiency in Excel, Word, e-mail and database programs.

 

Experience/Accomplishments:

 

·       7 – 9 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following digital marketing practice areas that demonstrates a hands-on familiarity with the digital marketing landscape:

o   Digital Strategist

o   Digital Content Communication/Marketing

o   Online Fundraising or Sales

o   Digital Content Producer

o   SEO Strategist or Planner

·       Commitment to creating progressive change

·       Staff Management – Proven ability to train, manage and motivate staff

·       Goal-oriented

·       Leadership experience

·       SEO experience

·       Sales or extensive customer service experience

·       Comfortable with quantitative analysis and multivariate testing

·       Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required

·       Proven experience formulating and driving successful digital strategy or digital advertising plans
