Finance Assistant/Call Time Manager
Carroll for Colorado seeks highly organized and dedicated individual for Finance Assistant/Call Time Manager position on a congressional race.
This role is responsible for staffing candidate call time, researching and creating donor call sheets, including building and maintaining a strong call time system, same day data entry and follow up on all calls completed by candidate, effectively managing and messaging the candidate during call time, managing a research plan to build out the donor base, and tracking and following up with pledges. Pledge follow up will include written solicitation and pledge chase calls as needed. Additionally, The Call Time Manager/Finance Assistant role will send a daily report of call time hours completed, total connects/messages, new commitments, overall commitments, call time pledges, and money in.
The Call Time Manager/Finance Assistant is responsible for managing interns, organizing mailings, and processing of all thank you notes and letters, and processing the daily mail. The Finance Assistant/Call Time Manager must also be adept at research and available to work long hours, nights and weekends as necessary on a regular basis and be able to work full-time until the end of the 2016 election cycle.
A successful candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently and pro-actively in a fast-paced environment and willing to perform other duties as assigned. He or she should also have a working knowledge of campaigns and a strong commitment to Democratic ideals and issues. The Finance Assistant/Call Time Manager needs to work well in a team environment and have a great attitude.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 1 year prior campaign finance experience is preferred.
· Ability to multi-task is a must.
· Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Prior relationships with Colorado donors preferred but not required.
Requirements:
· Strong computer skills.
· 70 wpm typing speed.
· Working knowledge of NGP is preferred but not required.
· Access to a reliable car.
· Some prior campaign experience.
· Detail oriented team player.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects at one and complete tasks on deadline.
