A top Democratic strategist with more than three decades of media consulting experience seeks a full-time Executive/Production Assistant for her Georgetown small office. This position is ideal for a junior-level candidate who is looking to gain insight into the industry and the Washington, DC power players while gaining solid political and administrative skills in a support role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

-    Writing checks, balancing accounts, billing clients

-    Drafting documents and briefing materials

-       Managing and organizing the office

-       Phones, heavy (4 lines plus mobile)

-    Staffing events for clients

-       Scheduling conference calls and meetings

-       Making travel arrangements

-       Prioritizing and responding to emails and correspondence

-       Event planning

-       Other office/administrative tasks as asked

 

Qualifications:

-    Must be located in the Washington Metro area

-       Professional, good sense of decorum and confidentiality

-    A demonstrated commitment to meeting a high bar and a history of getting things done

-       Ability to juggle multiple projects at once

-    Good eye for detail

-       Can do attitude, willing to take on any task

-       Excellent oral and written communication skills

-       Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science or a related field

-       Experience with QuickBooks

-    Must be willing to commit to finishing the 2020 cycle
