Maryland Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Seeks Regional Field Director

Democratic candidate for governor of Maryland is seeking applicants for the position of Regional Field Director. This position will be responsible for executing the campaign’s field plan for the Baltimore City area. 

 

Job responsibilities will include:

• Performing direct outreach via personal meetings, phone calls, and written communications to recruit a growing base of active campaign volunteers, building strong personal relationships and establishing a culture of empowerment and inclusion
• Planning, building, and executing effective voter contact (such as phone banks/canvasses) and visibility events (such as parades or other community events)
• Accurate and timely tracking of necessary data in VAN and/or other campaign tracking systems
• Recruiting, training, and managing a team of part-time and full-time interns or fellows, providing them with an empowering and positive experience
• Regularly communicating with key activists, community stakeholders, elected party leadership and a defined set of local elected officials in a professional manner

 

Well-qualified candidates will be detail-oriented self-starters who possess at least one cycle of campaign experience.
