Progressive Organizing Solutions is Hiring Regional Field Directors in Nevada!
Progressive Organizing Solutions is hiring in Nevada for a large-scale membership mobilization and issue advocacy campaign it is conducting on behalf of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV). Progressive Organizing Solutions will be hiring two regional field directors to be based out of our Las Vegas and Reno offices to manage organizers and direct offices.
Progressive Organizing Solutions is seeking experienced regional field directors in Nevada to execute a volunteer organizing and issue advocacy campaign to mobilize LCV members, elevate environmental issues and generate earned media. The regional field directors will manage and train organizers in the program as they engage LCV members as volunteers and activists in issue advocacy, earned media and grassroots lobbying activities. Issue focuses will be on building support for reducing carbon emissions, encouraging executive action to clean up coal fired power plants and raising awareness about the need to address global warming.
Successful candidates must have at least three years of community, issue, labor, or political organizing, experience managing staff, fluency in VAN, excellent communication and organizational skills, and must work well in a team. The position requires staff management, reliable transportation and a willingness to work evening and Saturday hours.
The Regional Field Director position is full-time, salaried and temporary through December 31, 2016.
