New Blue Interactive (@New_BlueDC) is looking to fill a Digital Strategist position in its Washington, D.C. office.  New Blue is a powerhouse digital firm with clients that include large national progressive organizations such as House Majority PAC; party committees like the DLCC; Democratic state parties in battleground states like Colorado, Ohio, and Wisconsin, as well as  Democratic candidates for U. S. Congress and Senate and key down ballot races.

Digital Strategist

The Digital Strategist will be the account lead on a variety of NBI clients. Applicants must have 2-3 years professional experience with an emphasis on digital. Required skills for applicants:  

• ·         Some hands-on experience with creating landing pages (fundraising and petition) and the loading/sending of emails is desired.
  
• ·         Technical experience should include at least basic knowledge and proficiency in CSS and HTML.
  
• ·         Good writing skills.
  
• ·         Qualified applicants should have an eye for detail and be able to juggle multiple client workloads
•       First-hand experience directing and managing digital programs for political candidates or public affairs campaigns is desirable.
•          Must be proficient in CRMs with knowledge and experience in at least one or more of the following databases: Blue State Digital, Blackbaud, Convio, NGP-VAN, Nationbuilder or Salsa.
  
•          Technical experience should include at least basic knowledge and proficiency in CSS, Photoshop, and HTML.
  
•          Experience with design/development of websites is a PLUS!
  
•         Excellent writing skills particularly in digital fundraising emails.

Salaries are commensurate with experience.
