GOTV Canvassers in Brooklyn

We are a Democratic Primary campaign hiring canvassers and team leads to support candidates in Brooklyn. A strong commitment to liberal politics and education is a must.

Available Shifts:

• Tuesday (9/11) & Wednesday (9/12): 
  
• 3pm - 8pm

• Thursday (9/13): 
• 6am - 11am
• 11am - 3pm
• 3pm - 8pm

Rate: $18/hour with opportunities for advancement

Responsibilities:

• Engage with voters door to door educating them about our supported candidate and informing them Election Day is 9/13.

• Record data about your interaction with each voter on a questionnaire provided.

• Reliably show up 15 minutes before your scheduled shift(s) for check-in and return to the office at the end of your shift for check-out

Qualifications:

• Comfort communicating with voters
  
  
• Able to walk for long periods of time
  
  
• Punctuality!
  
  
• Highly motivated
  
  
• Previous canvassing or phone banking experience, either paid or volunteer, is not required, but will receive preferential treatment.
  
  
• Ability to start immediately
