Description:
The JB for Governor Campaign is seeking Regional Field Directors to join a statewide program in Illinois. The Regional Field Director will report directly to a Deputy Field Director and will oversee an ambitious regional field campaign.
Responsibilities include:
● Manage field operation in specified region, including development and management of a team of Field Organizers through regular training and coaching to ensure region is operating effectively and efficiently
● Work directly with senior leadership to help implement new trainings and organizing tactics in their region
● Build political relationships among progressive and Democratic community members and leaders
● Meet and exceed organizing program goals
● Accurate and timely reporting
● Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
● 2+ cycles of competitive campaign field experience strongly preferred; one cycle of campaign field experience required
● Commitment to building a strong team culture through training and mutual accountability
● Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN
● Strong knowledge of Google Docs, basic computer literacy, and access to a reliable laptop
● Ability to work long, irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment
● Ability to work independently and in team settings
● A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an ability to relocate as needed
