Top-tier Congressional race in Las Vegas, NV is seeking Field Organizers Field Organizers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating volunteer operations for the campaign to persuade and motivate voters. Ideal candidates are hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with an ability to hit metrics-based goals, build relationships with volunteers, and turn out voters.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Recruiting and training volunteers.
• Building and managing volunteer canvasses and phone banks.
• Meeting weekly volunteer recruitment goals.
• Developing a plan to organize their turf based on its unique characteristics.
• Ensuring data integrity.
• Coordinating GOTV efforts in region.
• Reaching out to constituency groups, democratic clubs and organizations.

Required Skills:

• Experience working for or volunteering on political campaigns.
• Strong time management, interpersonal and organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work until June 14, 2016 with no previously scheduled time off.

·        Candidates must willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends.

·        Ability to take instruction and translate it into effective training and instruction of volunteers.

·        Enjoys working in a dynamic team environment with varied members of the general public.

·        Desire to learn on the job and meet any challenge with a positive attitude.

 

Ideal candidates will speak Spanish and have extensive experience with the Voter Activation Network (VAN).
