FRONTLINE CONGRESSIONAL RACE SEEKS GOTV DIRECTOR

Description:

Frontline Congressional race in Northern California seeks a top tier field operative to manage the Get out the Vote operation which will successfully defend a blue seat. This is one of the most competitive races in the country and a perfectly executed Get out the Vote program will be key to victory. Very competitive salary offered.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with the Field Director on all aspects of strategy, program, and operations for one of the largest field programs in the state of California

Manage a paid canvass operation

Assist the Field Director on implementation and development of a Get out the Vote plan

Manage and mentor Organizing staff to ensure they are meeting programmatic goals

Work with political partners across the district, the state, and in Washington, DC to strengthen our program

Qualifications:

At minimum 2 campaign cycles working in a field position

A passion for organizing

Strong interpersonal skills

Familiarity with NGP/VAN/PDI

A positive attitude, and willingness to work long hours and weekends

Access to a vehicle

Bonus points:

Experience in California politics

Prior management experience
