An exciting campaign is looking for a field organizer to help pass an upcoming ballot initiative in San Francisco. The field organizer will report to the Campaign Manager and is responsible for extensive outreach to individuals, communities, and organizations on behalf of the campaign. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Identify, recruit, and mobilize community supporters as volunteers
Plan and execute campaign events
Maintain accurate and complete campaign data
Create and maintain a campaign environment that productive and welcoming
Perform additional duties assigned by the Campaign Manager
Qualifications:
Previous campaign experience
Strong organizational, communication, and motivational skills
Driven individual with competitive edge
Team player who works well with others
Familiarity and comfort with campaign hours that often range from 60 to 80 hour work weeks and include weekends
Prefered skills:
Organizing experience in San Francisco
Ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish
Compensation commensurate with relevant campaign experience. The position is located in San Francisco, CA.
