JOB DESCRIPTION

Christopher Belt for State Senate is seeking Field Organizers for a highly targeted seat. Field Organizers are responsible for helping to execute the campaign’s organizing plan in communities across the 57th District. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates that are looking to get involved in the political process.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES - You will recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders in your assigned region or community to help build a large grassroots campaign - Participate in voter contact work in your assigned region - Maintain databases and do data entry when necessary. - Prepare canvass and call materials for volunteer activities - Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in your assigned region - Other duties as assigned and directed by campaign leadership.

● Strong interpersonal skills.

● An ability to always be professional, calm, and collected in all circumstances.

● Ability to handle multiple projects at once.

● Ability to meet short deadlines, while keeping long term objectives in mind.

● Must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently and as a part of a team.

● Willing to work irregular hours including nights and weekends

● Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
