Position Summary:

Kingston Consulting Group seeks applicants for Canvasser roles in Charleston, SC. This is a great opportunity for experienced field/community leaders looking to take the next step in their career and gain additional experience. The Canvassers will assist in voter contact and connecting with grassroot contacts for voter support. The ideal candidate is a:

a. Diligent

d. Experienced Canvasser.
e. Knowledge Canvassing Software and Platforms

This is a contract position, reporting to the Success Managers. Compensation offered will be commensurate with experience. There are no formal education requirements for this position. People of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Success Managers to ensure all other on-the-ground Metrics are Exceeded
• Work with the Success Managers to ensure engagement of progressive community in turf
• Attend Weekly Training and Coaching Sessions
• Engage in Voter Contact Execute out of the Box Engagement Ideas
• Other Duties as Assigned

Required Qualifications:

• You Own or Have Reliable Transportation (position requires frequent travel within turf)
• You have at least one cycle of field experience or equivalent organizing experience
• You have knowledge modern technology i.e. iPads and NGPVAN
• Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
• You have experience canvassing
• You have strong knowledge of field targeting and metrics
• You’re proficient in G Suite Products (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.)Microsoft Office, VAN (especially list building, turf cutting, monitoring canvass results)

Job Type: Contract
Duration: 4 weeks
Work Schedule: M-Sat; 24-36 Hours per week

Salary: $1,000.00 to $1,500.00 /month
