A progressive NC campaign seeks part-time field organizers for a competitive legislative primary. The race is in open district without an incumbent, in an area where Hillary Clinton won in 2016. The candidates must be located in or around Raleigh-Durham, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engage in volunteer recruitment and voter contact
Capable of successful training and managing volunteers
Maintain campaign data and update our campaign databases
Provide the campaign manager with quantitative and qualitative reports.
Meet or exceed goals in pursuit of larger programmatic objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
Campaign or political experience is not required but, prefered.
A track record of consistently meeting deadlines
Uses time effectively and able to managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
The ability to be an excellent team player and collaborator
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm for the progressive cause
Access to a laptop and vehicle
