UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Initiative (LPPI) is hiring for two positions and I welcome any support in getting these opportunities out to your networks (university, fellowship alum lists, policy advocate lists, campaigns…). Both positions are located at UCLA and require interaction with LPPI students (undergrads and graduate students) and faculty members.
We are hiring for a full-time communications staff member, ideal salary is $90k but we can go up to $100k. They will supervise one full-time staff member, our digital associate, as well as a team of students focused on communications and digital projects.
We are also hiring a full-time research director, ideal salary is $100k and requires a PhD. They will work closely with our faculty directors, Dr. Matt Barreto and Dr. Arturo Vargas Bustamante, and supervise graduate student researchers.
Both positions will have a critical role in building LPPI into the preeminent think tank on Latino issues and are ideal opportunities for social entrepreneurs, advocates, and applied researchers.
Happy to answer any questions and would love any recommendations of people who would be an ideal fit.
Thanks!
