Position Summary
The Manager, Finance (Fellowships) will be a key member of the Finance team that develops and maintains the financial systems and processes that strengthen LEE, LEE Foundation and its PACs. The Finance team ensures that all financial transactions comply with internal and external regulations efficiently and effectively through appropriate systems.
The Manager, Finance (Fellowships) reports to the Director of Accounting and manages all of LEE’s fellowship programs, credit card expense reporting, invoicing, staff reimbursement compliance, and reconciliations to ensuring that transactions are kept to the highest of standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of accounting experience, is someone who is continuously learning and improving upon systems and processes, thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and fast pace environment, and is comfortable working and communicating with a diverse set of stakeholders towards ensuring highly compliant and audit ready accounting practices and procedures.
Position Location: Washington DC preferred; flexible to the East Coast
Travel Requirements: 5-10% if located in Washington DC; 15-20% if located elsewhere on the East Coast
