Deputy Finance Director for Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate-- Arizona

Summary:

The Deputy Finance Director will work closely with the campaign’s Finance Director in implementing the finance plan for the 2018 cycle.

Sample duties:

• Manage components (i.e. follow-up) of overall call time program.

• Identify and research new donor prospects and opportunities.

• Oversee planning and logistics of statewide fundraising events.  

• Cultivate and maintain donor relationships through meetings, proper follow-up and outreach.

• Recruit for and manage campaign’s internship program.

• Staff candidate at in-state fundraisers and events as necessary.

• Ensure timely donor acknowledgements.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to relocate to Tucson, Arizona.

• Bachelor's Degree or equitable experience in applicable field required.

• At least one cycle of fundraising experience preferred.

• Knowledge of all aspects of a successful campaign fundraising operation.

• Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience using NGP/VAN preferred.

• High attention to detail.
