Freedman Consulting, LLC, a strategic consulting firm, is hiring an Administrative Associate to provide scheduling and administrative support for the firm president, as well as assistance with the operational needs of the firm.
Freedman Consulting, LLC, located in Washington, DC, offers strategic consulting services to foundations, nonprofit organizations, and philanthropic coalitions on a broad portfolio of issues focused on innovations for the greater social good. The firm works at the intersection of policy, strategy, communications, and politics to help philanthropic leaders have greater social impact.
The Administrative Associate will be responsible for managing scheduling, briefing material, travel, and administrative needs for Tom Freedman, President of Freedman Consulting. In addition, the Associate will act as support staff to the Director of Operations on operations and administrative needs for the firm, including:
• Ordering and maintaining supplies and inventory;
• Coordinating IT support;
• Assisting on financial and invoicing needs;
• Supporting business development tracking and planning;
• Managing overall facilities operations; and
• Other administrative and operational endeavors.
A bachelor’s degree is required and 1-2 years of previous work experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with scheduling or administrative support duties. Applicants should possess strong attention to detail, the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, a proactive nature, and an interest in the overall client values and mission of the firm.
