New York Congressional Candidate Seeks Campaign Manager

A Congressional campaign in Central New York is seeking a full-time campaign manager to oversee all aspects of the campaign. This position will be responsible for helping devise and ensure implementation of the overall campaign plan, including but not limited to: 

• Liaising with the consulting team and serving as the primary point of contact;
  
• The field program (supervising a field director);
  
• Public speaking on behalf of the campaign;
  
• Online and offline volunteer recruitment and training;
  
• Online and offline fundraising;
  
• Political strategy and grassroots outreach;
  
• Helping oversee the paid and earned media strategy;
  
• Enduring a robust social media program;
  
• Managing the time of the candidate and a core group of supporters and surrogates.
  

 The right candidate should be innovative, creative, politically savvy, and committed to progressive priorities. Given the many hats this person will wear, it’s important that he/she have a strong understanding of campaign infrastructure, and experience with short and long-term planning. Ideally at least one cycle experience of campaign management.
