Field Director for Top-Tier State Senate Campaign in Virginia

A top-tier Democratic State Senate race in Virginia is seeking a motivated, hard-working Field Director to start immediately.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Field Director will report director to the Campaign Manager and will be responsible for a number of tasks, including but not limited to:

- Building the Field Plan

- Recruiting, training, and managing organizers, interns, and volunteers in direct voter contact efforts

- Performing direct voter contact

- Entering data

- Working with the candidate and campaign manager to meet deadlines and achieve goals

- Expanding volunteer networks and engaging in community activist groups

- Scheduling, planning, and executing regular canvasses and phone banks

- Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary

REQUIRED:

- Previous field experience

- Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN.

- Ability to work long and irregular hours

- Reliable transportation

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in team settings

- Passion for electing Democrats
