Field Organizer (with opportunity for promotion) - NOVA Democratic INCUMBENT

Seeking entry level field organizer for a Fairfax County Democratic incumbent . An ideal candidate must be highly organized, highly professional, and ready to work very hard for a great incumbent elected official. 

Experience not required, but "can do" and "want to" attitudes most definitely are. The energy and enthusiasm of the candidates for this position will determine whether they are considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct Voter Contact
  
• Volunteer Managemen
• Create and implement internship program
• Work with the Campaign Manager to develop voter outreach and GOTV strategy

Qualifications

•  Have a passion for hard work and our incumbent elected official
  
•  Previous VAN experience/ training preferred
  
•  Be able to successfully coach and manage volunteers, interns, ect.
  
•  Be able to work in a high-pressure setting and willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends
  
•  Have experience meeting goals and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
  
•  Be competent with Microsoft Excel and general computers use
  

Room for Promotion

If hired, those who perform exceptionally will have room for title promotion and additional responsibilities.
