Staff Attorneys, (New
York, NY)
Earthjustice is
accepting applications for two Staff Attorneys to join our Northeast Regional
team. Both staff attorneys will play leading roles in our office’s litigation
and other advocacy efforts to safeguard the health and environment of the
Northeast Region and its communities. One of the Staff Attorney positions will
initially focus on the office’s climate and energy docket.
Salary range in NY: $145,000+; At least seven years of litigation experience

Deputy Managing Attorney, International Program (San Francisco, CA)
The International Program has a long history of working
across borders to use US, foreign, and international law to protect the global
environment. Drawing on deep experience in international human rights law,
international environmental law, and US, foreign and international litigation,
we work with partners in South Africa, South Asia, Australia, Indonesia, Latin
America and elsewhere.
Salary range for this job depends on location: Salary range
in San Francisco, CA: $170,910 - $189,900 10+ years’ depending on experience

Staff Attorney, Northwest (Seattle, WA)
The Northwest
Office of Earthjustice is looking to hire a Staff Attorney whose docket will
include work done in partnership with environmental justice groups. Although
the primary focus of the Northwest office is representing environmental and
community groups in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, we often take cases with
national and international scope. For example, the Northwest office is
representing the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in fighting the Dakota Access
Pipeline and is challenging the Bayou Bridge pipeline in Louisiana. The
position is available immediately.
Salary range in Seattle, WA: $134,995+ depending on experience; Six to twelve
years of litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Staff Attorney, Alaska (Anchorage, AK)
The Alaska office works to protect Alaska’s public lands and waters, fish and wildlife, air and water quality, and public health from threats posed by oil and gas development, old growth logging, minerals and coal mining, industrial-scale ocean trawling, and other activities. We represent conservation groups, Alaska Native tribal and nonprofit organizations, community groups, fishing organizations, and others in litigation and other advocacy before federal and state agencies and in the courts.
Salary range in Anchorage, AK: $125,100+ depending on experience
