BerlinRosen, a leading strategic communications firm, is seeking an Account Supervisor on our National Public Affairs team to help clients meet a wide range of campaign and communications goals in a changing media environment.

4-6 years experience in media relations, journalism, or related field strongly preferred. The ideal candidate for this mid-level role will be able to strategize with clients, manage up and down, write and edit, while pitching media and clients.

This position provides candidates with a unique opportunity to join a talented and growing team. Our national issue advocacy team works with major progressive organizations on some of the most high-profile issues of our time. BerlinRosen's current and recent clients are at the forefront of progressive work around health care, climate change, the economy, low-wage worker advocacy, women's issues, money in politics and ending mass incarceration.

Applicants should possess:

• Strong news sense and knowledge of the media
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at once, work quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
• Degree or experience in a communications-related field
• Familiarity with social media
• Familiarity with and interest in local, state, and national politics and a commitment and passion for progressive politics
• A sense of humor!
