Frontline NJ Congressional seeks Field Director

A nationally-targeted New Jersey congressional campaign, rated among the most competitive House races in the country, seeks an experienced field director to start immediately. The field director will oversee the campaign’s robust voter contact program in an effort critical to maintaining Democratic control of the House.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing an aggressive field plan

• Recruiting, training and managing a team of 10+ staff

• Monitoring progress to goal and troubleshooting problems when necessary

• Building and maintaining political relationships with community leaders

• Communicating needs to the campaign manager and the rest of the team

• Ensuring data integrity

Qualified candidates will:

• Have several cycles of field experience, including in management roles

• Have a passion for progressive politics and the power of political organizing

• Have a deep understanding of vote by mail and early voting programs

• Be adaptable and willing to change plans on the fly

• Be highly organized with an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

• Be willing and able to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis
