Field Director

 

Competitive Western Congressional Race is seeking full-time Field Director for an aggressive field operation. The Field Director is responsible for executing the field plan in the region, overseeing field organizers and working with activists and volunteers.  The Field Director reports up to the Campaign Manager.  Positions starts January 2016.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing staff of field organizers and volunteers

• Implementing and developing the field plan

• Coordinating activities and events of the campaign

• Serving as liaison to local officials and activists

• Overseeing the building and staffing of events

• Hiring Organizers and providing constant support and training

   

  Qualifications:

• At least one cycle of competitive organizing experience

• Strong coaching skills and abilities

• Big desire to be a part of a team

• Willingness to travel and work long hours in a face-paced environment

• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals while handling multiple projects

• Knowledge of campaign technology

• Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle is preferred.
