NYC Democratic borough-wide campaign seeks a dedicated and responsible Campaign Scheduler. The position is immediately available and will last through the September 10th Democratic Primary.
Position tasks include:
• Serving as point of contact for the campaign on candidate events
• Soliciting events from campaign allies
• Searching for events online
• Occasionally staffing the candidate at events
• Writing candidate briefs for upcoming events
• Assisting with campaign communications as required
• Assisting the field staff as required
Applicant Requirements:
• Excellent organizational and computer skills required
• Previous experience with a campaign, state party, membership
Organization, or non-profit preferred
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
• Ability to work with a team and be highly responsive
• Experience with Queens politics preferred
• Willingness to work long hours including nights and weekends
• Foreign language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Russian etc) a plus
