RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop a robust distributed organizing program across various platforms.
· Manage digital organizers and work with the organizing team to empower volunteers within their communities to organize most effectively and efficiently.
· Develop volunteer communities via Facebook, Slack, and/or other online platforms.
· Produce text message and call scripts to be used for peer to peer texting and phone banks.
· Work alongside the Digital Director to support the digital department, including drafting and reviewing social media and email copy, reporting and analyzing results and managing other special projects.
· Other duties as needed and assigned within and outside of the digital department.
SKILLS
OR QUALIFICATIONS:
· Familiarity with building and launching digital organizing campaigns.
· Experience training and empowering volunteers and organizers.
· Electoral campaign or advocacy organizing background with at least 1-2 cycles of employed experience in digital or distributed organizing.
· Experience with dialer tools and peer-to-peer texting tools.
· Experience with online community tools such as Slack and Zoom.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and creative problem solve.
· Strong discretion and commitment to a dynamic team environment.
· Willingness to work long hours and irregular campaign hours, including nights and weekends.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
