Role Overview

The Finance Director will work with the Campaign Manager to implement a comprehensive Finance Plan encompassing call time, events, and organizational outreach. The Finance Director will work with the finance team to develop and expand the campaign's donor base and work directly with the candidate on fundraising initiatives. The Finance Director should be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and willing to work long hours. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are required. The Finance Director will report directly to the Campaign Manager. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

 - Develop and implement Finance Plan

 - Manage finance staffers and interns

 - Build and execute successful fundraising events

 - Coordinate with fundraising consultants

 - Prep candidate for donor meetings and fundraising pitches

 - Help create and inclusive and welcoming work culture

Required Skills & Background

 

 - Fully versed in NGP

 - At least one cycle of finance experience

 - Exceptionally well organized, with the ability to meet strict deadlines

 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 - Willingness work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

 - Must have access to a vehicle and a cellphone
