Vote Positive USA is hiring a Virtual Field Organizer.
Location: Remote Position
Date: Immediately--November 4, 2020
Hours: This is a full-time temporary contract position. Virtual Field Organizer will likely need to work 7 days a week, should be available to work nights and weekends, typical campaign hours expected (long days across multiple time zones). Virtual Field Organizer will join a national remote team running GOTV efforts in 3-5 states (tier 1 states are CO and PA).
Pay Rate: $1,500-$2,500/week, based on experience.
Description:
Pull data as requested from SmartVAN; generate target lists
Sync data between SmartVAN and ThruText/ThruTalk
Draft phone and text bank scripts, run reports.
Train volunteers on text and phone banks.
Manage phone and text banks.
Support plan to scale up number of volunteers, calls/text and states.
Possibly: support on developing messaging, collaterals, voter ed/outreach materials
Possibly: support targeting in priority states
Other relevant responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
Progressive politics
Familiarity with SmartVAN, Thru Text and Thru Talk.
Familiarity with Slack
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well with volunteers with varying levels of electoral experience.
Problem solver with initiative
Can-do attitude!
