Competitive NC State Legislative Campaign in North Carolina is seeking a campaign manager for 2016 to start ASAP. Campaign Manager will be the point-person for all major decisions made on the campaign. We are looking for someone who is data driven, tech savvy, and experienced in running grassroots/volunteer centered campaigns. While we would prefer someone with previous campaign management experience, we are willing to consider others.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Duties include:

ü  Developing a fundraising plan including revenue and expense projections

ü  Developing a field plan

ü  Managing campaign budget

ü  Coordinating the work of political consultants

ü  Managing volunteers

ü  Managing the candidate’s schedule to maximize exposure to voters and donors

ü  Drafting rapid response campaign communications in consultation with the campaign’s consulting team

Required Skills:
The Campaign Manager should expect a demanding work schedule and be available long hours and weekends through Election Day. Qualified candidates are highly organized, highly motivated and capable of working in a stressful work environment.
