Seeking Finance Director for Florida House Race

Representative Margaret Good is seeking a full-time finance director for the 2020 campaign cycle.  Rep. Good won a special election in February of 2018 and was reelected in November of 2018.  The house seat, District 72, is the only seat the Republican Governor won in 2018 that is currently held by a Democrat.  It is a highly competitive race and requires a fast-paced, hard working campaign team.  Last cycle, the campaign team raised over $1.5 million dollars for the two elections. Prior finance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a candidate who is the right fit for the team.  The candidate must be:

• Proficient in or willing to learn NGP
• Motivated with a strong work ethic and a belief in the power of honesty and integrity in the campaign and legislative processes
• Willing and able to relocate to Sarasota, Florida through November of 2020
• Able to or willing to learn how to prepare for and manage call time 
• Able to or willing to learn how to prepare for and manage fundraising events
• Able to or willing to learn how to draft and send fundraising emails and assist with digital fundraising
• Able to or willing to learn how to create compliance reports
• Able to or willing to learn how to manage finance volunteers and/or finance support staff
• Able to start in June 2019

Pay is commensurate with experience and supporter housing is available.
