Position: Political Coordinator Description: OPEN POSITION: POLITICAL COORDINATOR ABOUT Pipeline Fund : At The Pipeline Fund, we believe in order to build a pipeline of leaders that reflect their communities, we must inspire a new generation to consider elected office, train them on how to run and win campaigns, recruit them into the right opportunities, support them with great staff and other resources, and finally, ensure they are able to govern effectively. Founded in 2018 by a group of philanthropists to explore ways to strengthen the pipeline of progressive candidates, the Pipeline Fund provides the funding, data, and coordination necessary to scale and connect the work of existing pipeline groups, in addition to supporting the formation of new pipeline groups. The Pipeline Fund is focused on building the pipeline of leaders from underrepresented and systemically excluded communities, including women, BIPOC, young people, LGBTQ+ people, working class people, and new Americans. We accomplish this by (1) providing direct funding and strategic support to state-based organizations to recruit, train, and support diverse leaders; (2) convening national and state pipeline organizations regularly to build community and to share best practices; and (3) providing pipeline building organizations with the data and tools they need to do their work more effectively. The Pipeline family of organizations includes the Pipeline Fund, a 501(c)(4), the Pipeline Education Fund, a non-partisan 501(c)(3), and the Pipeline Initiative (a nonprofit corporation).
