New York Congressional Campaign Seeks Field Organizers (Long Island)

[NY Congressional Campaign]

High profile New York Congressional campaign seeks Field Organizers. Field Organizers should have exceptional organizational and time management skills, be able to manage multiple projects at once, and be willing to work extended hours. Extra consideration will be given to those candidates with previous field experience (as interns or staff) and/or previous Long Island organizing experience.

 

In particular, candidates will be responsible for:

·      --Implementing best practices to recruit, train, and manage volunteers

·      --Building neighborhood teams

·      --Organizing meet and greets and events in diverse communities

·      --Developing relationships with voters and community leaders

·      --Cutting turf for volunteers to knock doors

·      --Managing Phone Banks
