Finance Assistant needed for Congressional Campaign in Upstate New York

                Finance Assistant:

Democratic congressional candidate in Kingston, NY seeks a Finance Assistant to raise money for the June Primary and November General election against John Faso. This is the perfect position for someone who wants to get their start in New York politics. The Finance Assistant will work with the finance team and serve as a utility player who can fill in for other areas of the campaign as appropriate.

Start Date: ASAP

Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

· Upkeep and maintenance of campaign finance database, including donor information and prospective donor research

· Process daily contributions

· Prep for call time

· Staff call time

· Assist with drafting fundraising email and communications

· Assist with all aspects of fundraising events

· Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed

 

Applicants must be highly organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Access to a car is highly recommended. Prior campaign experience is encouraged but not necessary.
