Are you a recent grad looking to break into politics? Sean Eldridge for Congress, based in Kingston, NY, is seeking full-time Fellows. As a Fellow you’ll play an essential role during some of the busiest months of this highly competitive congressional race while learning firsthand what it takes to build a winning campaign from the ground up. And you’ll fill your political toolbox with highly valuable campaign skills like campaign operations, NGP, donor research, voter outreach, and event organizing. You'll work closely with the campaign staff to learn what it takes to run a winning campaign.
NY-19 is a top take-back opportunity for Democrats in the House. President Obama won NY-19 by six points in 2012 and the Cook Political Report has given it a Partisan Voter Index (PVI) of “D+1”. Politico ranked this race as one of the 10 “must-watch” House races and National Journal listed the seat as one of the most likely to flip this year.

The Details:
- From day 1, you’ll learn by doing. We see fellows as an integral part of this campaign and so look for applicants who can successfully multi-task and dive into a rigorous operation. In any given week, you could be organizing a house party, working with volunteers, and joining Sean as he travels the district.
- Our fellows will work closely with key staff and have a chance to further develop their political network and campaign skill set.
- This is a great way to get started in politics – no prior campaign experience required.
- Housing is in walking distance to the office as well as Kingston's vibrant uptown, grocery stores, fun restaurants, and cozy coffee shops.
- We are looking for applicants who can begin in July and make a three-month commitment to the campaign.
Space in this program is limited. To apply, please email your resume and available start date to Dana at da...@seaneldridge.com. Additionally, in 20 words or fewer, please explain why you’re excited about this fellowship program.
