Rising Tide Interactive, a full service digital firm that represents Democratic candidates, political committees, labor unions and advocacy groups, is seeking self-motivated college students or recent graduates for a paid summer internship in our Washington, DC office.
Job responsibilities include:
- Drafting and editing outbound email and ad copy
- Building, sending, and monitoring blast emails
- Creating and updating email and ad reports
- Helping with the development of ad creative
- Performing research
- Assisting with client services
All candidates should have experience writing compelling copy, a keen eye for proofreading, familiarity with Microsoft Excel and passion for digital marketing and Democratic politics.
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with CRM platforms like Salsa, NGP, and BSD and demonstrated analytical abilities.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate with a focus in politics, government, marketing, advertising, or communications to learn marketable skills in digital politics. If you're eager to learn, organized, and creative, you may be the right candidate!
Interns should be available for a minimum of 20 hours a week starting in late May or early June and will be offered a stipend as compensation. Alternatively, current undergraduates may instead accept academic credit.
