Canvassers for Competitive General Election - Staten Island, NY

NorthShore Strategies, a Consulting Firm based in New York City is seeking field staff for our efforts on a competitive campaign in New York City. Qualified candidates will work independently and with team leaders to knock on doors to contact voters in Richmond County, Staten Island.  Shifts are from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday. All data collected in the field will be recorded electronically and checked for quality and accuracy daily. Any falsifying of data will be grounds for immediate termination.

Requirements

• The ability to comprehend messaging and articulate issues related to the campaign.
• The ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Regular communication and submission of daily reports.
• Adherence to schedule and punctuality.
• The ability to communicate electronically with team leaders at all times in the field.
• The ability to use electronic devices to record data collected.

Compensation is $11/hour plus driving reimbursement. Candidates able to drive their own vehicles will be given preference.
