Want to earn $50 to $60 for 5 hours of work? Are you a motivated professional with an interest in gaining experience as a staffer on a political campaign? Earn money while supporting a Democratic candidate for office in your home district!

We're looking to hire canvassers in Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry and Lake counties for a campaign that will be responsible for executing a robust door to door canvass program educating voters about the strongest Democratic candidate, Sean Casten, and convincing community members to vote in the upcoming primary election.

The campaign will run up until election day on March, 20th. Each shift will be 5 hours, paying between $10 and $12 an hour, depending on prior canvassing/campaign experience. There is NO LIMIT on the number of shifts a canvasser can work!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Canvassers will be primarily responsible for delivering the campaign's message to voters' homes around the district through face-to-face conversations at the door.
• Each canvasser is expected to knock on at least 60 doors per every 5 hour shift, with no limit on the number of shifts he/she can work.
• Canvassers must be informed, well-mannered and maintain a presentable appearance during their shifts.
• Canvassers must be available for training and keep up with campaign updates.
• Advancement and promotions are available to highly motivated individuals who display exceptional drive and effectiveness when communicating with voters.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience as a canvasser, in a political office or campaign office preferred.
• A valid driver's license and vehicle preferred.
• An ability to walk for several hours, possibly in poor weather, required.
• Strong verbal communication skills and an ability to quickly retain new information required.
• Enthusiasm, drive and motivation are necessary.

• Compensation will be between $10 and $12 an hour, depending on prior experience.
