New England Congressional Race Seeks Finance Director for 2016

Our Democratic congressional campaign in New England seeks a finance director to lead our fundraising effort. Duties will include:

 

•    Provide overall strategy for raising necessary funds to support our operation.

•    Implement systems that organize the fundraising effort.

•    Candidate management.

•    Event planning and preparation.

•    Donor relationship management.

•    Staff management.

•    Prospecting lists and growing the network.

•    Pledge follow up

•    Scheduling fundraising and managing travel.

 

We seek a candidate with the following attributes:

•    Two cycles of experience working in finance with one as a finance director.  Preference will be given to those who have worked on a federal race.

•    Organized with incredible attention to detail

•    Energetic, fun, and outgoing

•    A self-starter and independent

•    Excellent communication skills, both within the organization and to the public

•    Articulate and gregarious

•    Willing to lead groups large and small

•    Interacts with anyone from anywhere

 

Housing is available.  Please no consultants, this is a full-time position.
