Senior Executive Assistant and Office Manager

We're seeking a full-time Senior Executive Assistant committed to getting results in a fast-paced environment and able to handle complex competing priorities with a portfolio including schedule management, records and reports, liaison work with key allies and partners, gatekeeping, and office coordination/support for our DC office.
Serving as the key point of contact for two of CPD's Co-Executive Director, the Senior Executive Assistant will be part of a two-person assistant team that supports CPD's Co-EDs and management team to maximize their impact and further our mission.
This position will work closely with a range of individuals within and outside of the organization to coordinate projects and initiatives. He or she must demonstrate effective and efficient project management, and must be capable of exercising initiative, discretion and good judgment. Strong writing skills, professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this role. As the assistant to the Co-Executive Directors, the Senior Executive Assistant is the behind-the-scenes key to helping ensure the strongest possible leadership.
This position will also be the on-site operations coordinator for our DC office, which is newly-built out and houses approximately 15 CPD staff people as well as subleasing space to house approximately 10 staff from close CPD allies. This position will also serve as a receptionist and office manager, as well as the point of contact for the landlord and key facilities and technology vendors.
This position will report to CPD's Director of Operations & Human Resources, who is Brooklyn-based, and work closely with CPD's DC-based Co-Executive Director who manages our political & issue campaign work. We offer a generous salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
